i'm only asking, cause i've read that the snooks are quite fragile and don't put up much of a fight against the other more robust CA cichlids. Guess i wanted to know if people have had success with mixing them?

i no what you mean about them being hard to find in Aus. I've only seen them once and when i did i bought one. This is my guy or girl, not sure.
Its in with the likes os oscars, a GT and a JD and no one bothers it, it seems to enjoy rounding up my silver dollars though.

makes me miss mine. The wild morph is my favorite variant of snook if you ever get a chance at one of those get it.
Dangg Linoleum, that is one sweet looking fish, mine doesnt look anywhere near as good as that, what size is it. I'm seriously like in awe. LOl i love the blend of colors, like the green tint but with the orange on the face, and the spots. Jealous. LOl i'd upload a pic of mine, but i havn't had the time. Plus no color on mine "YET" i hope.
thanks man, im glad i got the chance to share it. Its about 7" bought it at around 4 im not sure what the colour morph is called though. my biggest regret is not buying all the ones they had at the shop and trying to get a pair, no doubt those fry would be worth a bit down here. Im sure yours will colour up he's only small.
