Believe me Synspilums are no cup cake lol. Both my Male and Female are Terrors. The beat down fish that muck with them. The two are spilt in 2 tanks because they hate each other lol. Very Nice Argenteas as well! Even though my argentea acts like it drank like 10 Monster energy drinks I don't think it can beat down the Male Syn with it. Also the syn is 7" and Argentea is 3.5"-4".

So is there a way to sex syn's without waiting for them to pair? I have a couple with completely different colors, which I know is common, but are they sexually dimorphic?

Females tend to look much duller and less pink than males.

yeah, my argentea's aren't going to be fighting synspiliums anytime soon.
