I'm glad I live on the West Shore, and not the East Shore where all of this is happening.. but my brothers families, and my parents are stuck on that side!

We even closed my work because of people not being able to come in, and we close for NOTHING!

All that flooding and we are battling fires down here in TX!!! But in all seriousness hope the waters recede soon!!

crazy. At least we lived near the top of Blue Mountain when we were there. I have lots of relatives on the East shore still.

Yeah blue mts is west shore, the only bad part on this side is Carlisle back roads.

My brothers just got word they need to evacuate.

A friend of mine was evacuated by boat yesterday. The cops told her to leave her 2 dogs. She about flipped! She had to fight with him to take the dogs.

It official that all roads into the main city are closed.

The 2 major highways (81 and 83) will be closed come midnight.

They have also turned the water off in 2 counties for the next 72 hours.

Basically, we have:

Harrisburg- no way in or out
West shore- no way in or out

And anything above Harrisburg is screwed too.

More pics.. the lady with the dogs is a friend of mine who was evacuated.

The waters reached her first floor, and there was extensive flooring and wall damage done.

The other picture is Zoo American @ Hershey Park. They couldn't save the Bison (again) and they had to be shot. The wolves also didn't make it. During the flood in 2004, which was much lesser than this, the Bison drowned.

this sucks. i live south of you in maryland near the susquehanna. the water hasent even crested yet, i feel so bad for these people. thankfully im far enough away from the river not to be effected but i know many who arent.
