Pablo, from Escondido

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Well guys, I am absolutely gutted and trying to not break down and cry at work but my blue boy is gone. Pablo, from Escondido; passed lasted night after a long battle in quarantine with what I suspect was a swim bladder issue. This is the part of the hobby that sucks the most, you get them little cute balls of fin and attitude and then you watch them grow up and mature into absolutely stunning examples of their species with soooo much personality they become part of the family. everytime someone came over to visit theyd ask about him wanted to see him. I want to quit. I honestly do. I know the losses happen but it never does seem to get easier, atleast not with the ones who become more to you than just a pet

His final measurements 11.75"

Bummer, it always stings to lose a favourite fish. He was a beauty.

I feel your pain. I lost my male, which I think was 6+, due to a bully beat down by a female parrot/midas cross that he had been with for several yrs.
