Pacman Frogs~~~

I have pacmans to, what do you feed them. I do mostly crickets and the odd pinkie.

i did mainly pinkies, then moved up to mice, then small rats, now she is back to mice and when i remember to vary her diet, goldfish.

depends on species. mine is an ornate and the max ive ever heard in a book for an ornate is 6", which is what mine is. but for the most part the biggest i usually see them is about 4".

Wow- Pacmans are sick... they seem like theyd be good for a college critter, b/c they dont need much space.. whats the smallest species?

I have an ornate, a regular green, and an albino. You don't want to keep a large one with a small one as the large one will eat the small one.

Just wondering...

If I keep just a male pacman frog by itself, will it croak? I heard that the male ones are very capable of making loud noises, but I'm wondering it they do it frequently. I always hear bullfrogs calling when it is raining, do pacmans do this too?

here is my 2.5 year old female ornate pacman. she hit at least 4" her first year and then slowly got to where she is today (6" around). i have had many others but this was the one that grew the fastest and ornates are my favorite anyways, so this is the only one i kept.

damn, shes a beast, mines grown about an inch since i posted this thread
