PACMAN FROGS i know the basics and ive been researching them alot lately and decided to buy one after i refused to pay 50 $ and saw one a month later for 30 $ so anyways i now have an albino pacman frog and its in a really small plastic container untill it grows the "container" i keep it in has tank gravel piled on one side and a small water pool on the other it digs holes and sits in em all day so far its eaten a moth. i hear they have calcium problem and ur supposed to dust crickets in calcium powder before feeding it is this just random :bs: or what ??

They need to be in a "soil" not gravel...and they need to be misted at least 2 - 3 times a day...you need to use JUNGLE MIX LIZARD LITTER and moss...they love to burrow in the stuff...Also...you can feed him crickets dusted with a calcium dust.

Also...They do get really huge, I have seen them as big as a dinner plate, and are fun to watch eat...When they get bigger, they like to eat pinkey mice...and will attack anything that moves!

Nedd more info? Just PM me!!!
Have a good weekend!

I use Repti- Cal as a dust for all captive reps and amphibians, it contains calcium and B vitamins to keep them from getting soft bones.

I kept mine in spagnum moss and kept it damp. i fed mine pieces of fish, meat, shrimp, and crickets. i held the dead food with tongs and jiggled it around until grabbed hold. occasionally i threw a live mouse in the tank. he did very well on that diet and grew very quickly.

good luck with it
im thinking of one also

Heres some pics of some fatty toads.
1st is a pacman(Prabally about 8 in.)
2nd is a pixie frog(look at what he is eating and you can tall how big he is)
NOTE: these pictures or animals are not mine. Google image search. I beleive both are from Regal Reptiles.
