WOW, keeping it for that long and you still dont know how to take care of it. I wish these animals where harder to keep and would die on the slitest change. Anyways, your frog need dirt. 4 inches of pure dirt. These animals dig. And last I checked, its not easy digging in water. Your animal only needs a water bowl big enough for it to sit in. What are you feeding it? This animal should be fed bugs. You should have more plants and a cave for it aswell. Do some research.

You edited this post for spelling errors? Check it again. Maybe coming off as an arrogant person really doesn't get the job done around here.
Why don't you try being positive and helping the guy out instead of being so sarcastic about things. You may know alot about reptiles, but be a little nicer when giving advice.

Sorry, didn't mean to derail the thread.

I don't know if I'd waste the time with a frozen pinky. Not once did it eat dead prey. Sure loved the live pinky's though...

I took out the fake plants added the water bowl and just left a few rocks. the bedding is at least 3 inches deep. its around 80 degrees with the light bulb on it..its around 70 at nite. how long should i wait till i offer it a live pinky??
thanks for the responses.

Wow...It's a good thing I found this thread. I was thinking of getting my first reptile and I was considering these guys as one of my choices.
