pacu and plants

ok so what plants will a pacu not eat im hoping there are some out there maybe swords, bamboo, java fern but what else is there?

Any plants are safe as long as you put them in a different tank from the pacu

I wouldn't count on it. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they even chew up fake plants if they get hungry enough

Pacu eat plant matter all the time in their natural habitat. I personally wouldn't waste the time/money in making a pacu setup nice, just to have it turn into a salad bar.

Don't be discouraged......I have a pacu that I raised from a quarter size....he/she has the best personality and is worth all of the aggravation Just my personal opinion

I have a redbelly pacu (25 cm) with vallisineria gigantea, anubias and other plants and I have not got any problems... yet..

yeah i have to agree, some fish just should not be kept due to adult size
