hmm well i will see what i can do for a tank for now and also be saving for one of the big elevated pools. my mom thinks its a waste because you can't admire them when they are in a pond.

your mom does have a point, it is harder to admire the fish from the top. however, with fish like a pacu, it becomes more about their quality of life, than our own asthetic pleasures.
if you guys want something to look at, theres always bottom dwellers that you can add as well. many catfish, rays and even FW eels SHOULD get along with your pacu if you have a large enough pond.

i know but that'll have to wait seeing how i have three tanks setup (29, 55, 75) and i live in a single level house. so i will wait until we get a house where i can claim the basement as mine and setup all my fish down there (including the pool and a turtle pond
