No, the point is that my photos are terrible. My camera sucks and there have been a handful of threads to make fun of my pics. LOL Oh, and mine is definitely not a baby, but it still has a great red belly.

Gotcha... duh... It is funny though that you mentioned mythical.. when you saw my picture of the babies.. they do look really fake.. in fact i wish people would post a few more pacu pictures of babies ... I bet your pictures are not as bad as you think......Does your large Pacu with the red belly look like the same type as mine? I wonder why mine lost their belly coloring? Maybe because their 7 years old.. how old is yours? Also maybe because their are two.. interesting.. but i would like to see those red bellies again..the silver and red really stand out..

I got a new camera phone which takes pics better than my camera. I will post pics when I figure out how.

Hey No Pressure just hurry Up!! Only kidding take your time .. looking forward to them.. i had a problem with transferring my pictures onto pc yesterday.. i was sweating it..but cleaned all the little places where you plug it in.. from dust etc.. and then it worked fine.. whew!!

Mine like grapes too but only if they are peeled. They also love Science diet and Eukanuba dog food. They also get wheat bread balls carrots frozen shrimp silversides and like lettuce and some other veggies and fruit. Lots of times they will turn their nose up at fruit and veggies but will always eat the dog food and bread balls. I also put freeze dried crickets in the bread balls. They also love peanuts and other nuts.

my red bellied pacus are about 20 - 22 inches and the red on their bellies is still really strong depending on what they eat. Some times ther is almost no red and other times when they eat certain foods it is real visible

That is a great varied diet you give your pacus.. i will have to try some of the foods you mentioned and see if their bellys get some red again.. thanks for the tip! How do you give the carrots.. raw or cooked?
