Pacu Grill

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
You may see some more regrowth on the bottom lip over time, I know piranha have some amazing healing capabilities. I don't see why a pacu would be much different in that area. I've had red bellies regrow lips before, hope he can do the same.

Either way, as long as he's healthy I think it actually gives him character. He looks either super angry, or really happy. I can't decide ;)

poor Leonardo. we love him dearly but he will never join Mensa. his new handle is Leonardo lipless de fishio.

He's lost his zombie look, and his grin still isn't quite as nice as it was before, but he looks much better than he did in April. His lower teeth are almost covered up again. Leonardo has a big personality that shines out in his grin. He seems to be entertained by watching everything that goes on outside of his tank. He likes to interact with us. He is much more personable than his brother Adonis.

Looks good as new! I haven't really seen a big tank-raised pacu without a busted lip... it's pretty much inevitable with lids because they get spooked over random things, like turning the kitchen lights off too fast  I'd love to see a video of your setup, Leonardo sounds just like my big ol female (follows me around the room begging for snacks lol)
