Pacu question

Well mine was trying to bite my oscars don't know why it was the first time i noticed him ever doing that, an do pacu's really like carrots???

Here are my big boys getting aggressive with a carrot. They are my garbage disposers

Our pacu love slices of potato. Adonis gets the best of Leonardo who nips at his tail trying to get Adonis' potato chip while Leo's chip lies at the other end of the tank. This is as aggressive as our pacu get. They have never been fed feeders. After eating, Leonardo de Fishio sometimes gets very rambunctious and starts chasing and nipping at Adonis. It looks more like he's playing a game of tag than anything else.



I've heard of pacu getting aggressive and killing other fish....I think a lot of them were fed live feeders. I'd rather my pacu get aggressive with carrots than start viewing other fish as potential food.

[R2 Ranch]

Mine are quite sweet. They chase each other around the tank as if to be racing. They don't bother any of the other tank mates. My are rather small in comparison to others. One is 19 inches and the other is 17 inches. That is a guess, since I don't like to physically measure them.
