Yes, I am well aware of that, but I also am well aware that 2000+ posts makes me far from a noob on almost any forum. When did I say that I was smarter and/or wiser than either of them? :screwy: I was referring to the noob comment.

Enough derailing, let's keep the personal comments in PMs. I don't think that either a Pacu or a Piranha would do well at all in a 30G :(
 
Hopefully, all he needs is a little education, and if he takes to that, cool.

If that doesn't seem to work, I vote we lock him in a bathroom stall. He can sorta turn around in there, do his thing, and eat. That's all he needs to be happy and healthy right? ;)
 
He probably honestly didn't know. Look how many people -on this forum-who don't know how big fish get that they don't happen to keep. I know Oscars, I know nothing about certain catfish. We're "in" the hobby of keeping fish and most who come here don't know. I don't think the employees purposely lie to customers, most them are teenagers just trying to buy gas. There's nothing but disagreement on every single forum about every aspect of fish-keeping. We can't agree with each other to save our lives-how is some young kid at PetsMart supposed to compete?? It's easier to smile and correct them.
 
I mean of course a 30 gallon is waaaaaaaay way way too small for any kind of piranha...but to say a pacu...I mean :WTF::swear::screwy::ROFL:
