Can we put a couple of 4" Pacu together with a couple of small Iridescent shark in a 150gl tank? Just curious

They'll outgrow the tank in a very short period of time but I wouldn't see why they wouldn't get along. You do realize how big each fish get? Right

Thanks. I do. Well, they are also very fast and strong swimmers. The pacus are nibblers too. Just afraid the tank would not be sufficient.

Btw, how long before they actually outgrow the tank, and start banging and demolishing things in their paths?

Here is a grow out thread with timeline as proof

Another factor is id sharks are super skittish unless you have at least 6 of them together. So not even mentioning the size, they are anxious fish that spook over almost nothing. That in turn would cause a chain reaction. If you ask me that tank combo/size is a ticking time bomb

great fish but need a big ol pond to keep even one of each of these species for any sort of long term plan.
