i have an eleven inch red pacu. very tough fish
he survived harassment from 3 oscars and 3 FH
now he outgrew them. hes the one doing the chasing

hahaha..u are always welcome to visit man....

anyway..one of the tank mate (my big old Red Tail Golden Arowana) snapped suddently and start chasin this pacu ard...got quite a few scratches on the pacu's body now...

will need to supervise and hope this dun go too bad..

act pacus r nice, i've got 5 of them from lfs in sg. cheap sale 5 for s$6... ahaha!
starnge thing thou, they seemed so comfortable in e lfs' confined tank such that they behave like sissies in their big tank? i'm not too sure y either... but i do agree they eat basically anything! even live feeders that r bigger than them!

Yes..most of the time, they just mind their own business..but they can become very messed up during feeding times..they just get too excited and start basing everywhere...

most of the pacus i owned are pretty ok..but had one that got this passion for chewing hard fins off other fishes..that one, I have to get rid of it.. :swear:
