they are mad protected in my area PA. guess they are rare never seen one in the wild

That's not true. Paddlefish have a pretty wide range.

Personally these are a fish I don't think anyone but the most experianced aquarists with the largest of setups should even attempt to keep.

Where did that map come from Sandtiger? it should have Michigan as Extirpated and a bunch of other states listed as stable as naturally extirpated, special concern and declining..Some of those stable states actually should read NO DATA..
