There's breeders in the USA that breed them for DNR, etc... Just have to find them. I'm sure they'll give you their runts that would be culled for next to nothing.

I'd start researching who actually breeds them here in the US if I were you. Good luck with the search
 
There are various public aquariums that spawn them too, mostly for release, but they don't release all of them. I've spoken to the staff at some of them, not necessarily about paddlefish specifically, but they don't always mind giving away some of their stock to the right person if you get on good terms with them and seem knowledgeable.
Sometimes they end up overstocked and have to cull anyway.

Might wanna check some universities with ichthyology and breeding programs and see what you can find out too. State fisheries also spawn them and are willing to give away or sell various fish.
Our fisheries here are very helpful and accommodating with that type of thing.
 
Haven't seen any paddle fish for the past couple of years.If and when they become available i will definitely contact you.

I was looking for them for a while, and by the time I found them, I decided to skip on them. Pretty tough fish to keep.
