Pellet Trained Paddlefish Fingerlings

These healthy, hand-selected fingerlings are 6–8 inches long and were spawned in April 2025. While pellet-trained, they will still naturally filter feed.

Paddlefish are peaceful, active swimmers that require plenty of space. They make a unique addition to large koi ponds or backyard setups. All fingerlings are hatched by Dr. Mims, who has over 40 years of experience working with American Paddlefish.

What are their temp range tolerances?

Pretty similar to a koi! As long as there’s enough oxygen in the water the temperature doesn’t really bother them! In the winter here in Kentucky last year it got down to -20 in the summer here I got up over 100° air temp! These guys are pretty remarkable!

Do u have older, bigger ones for sale?

Typically, we only have our hatchlings for sale but this year we do have some four footers that are about 10 years old that we let go. I think we have four or five of them left. They are absolutely massive!
