paint or not

so i went with a clear gloss stain, thinking about doing doors with a black stain.

It's a nice looking basic stand, but I would have painted it black............

thanks i just wish they lasted both of the tanks we built didnt make it. mine failed as soon as i put in a DIY spraybar, too much flow and it ended up leaking. and my friends he said it just started leaking on the bottom somewhere.
