Paint that's safe for fish

I'm going to be making a 3D background for my 560 ray tank and was wondering if all paint was ok to use
I understand that it needs time to cure and dissipate the oder.
But is it still safe?
What else could i use?

I second the krylon fusion. Used it on all tank internal sump plumbing.

Whatever you go with let it dry way longer than it says to, and then let it soak and do water changes while it's soaking for a long time before adding it to your tank.

I used Krylon Fusion on my heater cover, let it dry for a day and then put it in the tank. No issues.
