people tell me all the time that i should paint my tank. but idk what paint to use and the proper way to apply it. any help????

i yoused a paint roller and outdoor house paint. clean the glass with viniger and drain the tank about an inch. the roller will spread the paint evenly and you wont have to worry about getting any in the tank. it might take two or three coats. hope that helps :)

Krylon Fusion spray paint is what alot of people use. It's good for the back of tanks or spray painting PVC and whatnot to put into the tank. I painted mine blue.

most spray paints will work fine if there is nothing that will be coming in contact with the painted surface of your tank. if you have a top mounted filter that could rub against the painted surface over time, etc, use a self etching primer instead... sticks to smooth surfaces much better than an ordinary paint.

I used rustolium semi gloss black spray paint. 5 coats, turned out great.
