For the background on the outside of the tank? I know what you mean by sticking to natural colors but I doubt your fish cares. Most of our fish are tank bred and have never seen their natural environment. I'm not implying that all fish are tank breed though as i know alot of them have to be imported
Natural colors they'd see in the wild?lol their living in small glass cages!doubt the metallic is worse than being confined to a glass prison!no worse than the bright lights some keepers expose their fish to!wouldn't think its any worse than plastic plants or lack of any plants in some tanks.ect ect. All,every single one of our fishes live in a TOtALLY different world than in the wild!I don't care how natural you Tt to make it, its still not EVEN close to being in the wild. IMO anyhow.
Alright guys I have some pics n if anyone would like to see it PM me with a email address.or if someone could post them for everyone that would be awesome.
IMO i wouldn't do it becuase it dosen't LOOK natural. Of course a tank is not a natural setting but you cna quite easily acheive a natural LOOKING aqaurium. Anything that makes it appear less natural and (in this case) more "metallic" doesn't really appeal to me.
your choice though.
i have no idea how metallic this paint looks and ill have to see it before i make any judgements.
Its not overly metallic, its not like bass boat metal flake. It don't look like a disco ball its just a nice blue with some metallic in it.there's also a clear metallic that could be used with any color, for you more natural guys. Have you ever been swimming underwater? The suns always glistening at the surface and underwater too.
