anyone know what type of black paint i can use that is safe for the aquarium?

i'm looking to paint my white pvc pipe that is hooked up to a sponge and a powerhead.

Krylon Fusion would be my choice too....bonds to plastic so it wont flake off. I have heard of several people using it to paint spraybars and other things in their tank with no issues.

Make sure and sand the PVC with fine sand paper before painting, this will help the paint adhere better.

You don't need primer with the Krylon Fusion, it's made to bond with plastic right out of the can.

Nice. I just used Krylon on some of my pvc piping (pretty sure it wasn't the Fusion), and it needed a primer coat.

If it works without the primer, bonus!

since you are talking about painting plastics what would you use to cover great stuff expanding foam or would just putting sand into it when its still tacky work??
sorry if this in kinda off on a tangent
