Almost no chance. The female RT is already larger and will grow faster than the GT; not to mention she's consideribly meaner. The RT's get larger so even a female RT will be larger than a male GT

8" is reasonable to expect for a mlae GT.

I heard House of Tropics had them for $15 at 3-4" and $5 or $7 at 2". I was meaning to go look but kept forgetting. I might do it tomorrow or Monday.

House of Tropics has 4" GT for $12ea. They are white Saums not Gold (white edge fins not orange).

thanks a bunch man, how many did they have when you were there? whats an easy way to tell a male gt from a female? juct so i can try and get the best match of fish.

they had about 10 or so. I bought one male. The males have a pointer dorsel fin, the females dorsel is round at the end adn she may have what looks like an "H" on her body, but the fin is an easier gauage. There are two tanks with them, the first tank has more and they are listed for $12, the 2nd they are marked at $12.95.
