I drove 5.5hrs each way when I bought my trio. Smallest 13”, biggest 18” (Disc width). It was mid-summer so temp was not an issue. Used half of a caged 275 gal tote, and the other end as a lid. 100gallons of water. Easy peasy.
Winter temps make it challenging atm though.
I delivered 18 & 20” females using a 57gal lidded tote w air pump & stone. Took an extra 20gal of water for exchange at the drop off. Total trip time 5hrs. Prime to detox ammonia.
If you have a SUV or wagon, and since these guys are smaller, you could use the same lidded tote. If concerned about ammonia use a seeded sponge filter & battery air pump, or just add Prime to detoxify the ammonia for the trip.
