Yeah I'll start with the more serious issues for now. Thanks again for the help.I've seen worse. Concentrate on improving the food/ vitamins, temp. and water conditions for now.
Personally I like to have some plants. I think it helps the fish a bit if they want to hide or explore. Maybe put in a corner as the ray needs room.
Eventually these fish will get big. Maybe quicker than you expect.
Currently my tank is more crowded. Not saying it's right. Just something I am dealing with.
I don’t have a up to date pic of the whole tank. But this was about 3-4 weeks ago. It just doesn’t seem crowded to me. But I don’t know that’s why I ask.

Thank you. Yes a large tank setup is something I know will be required. I planned on this when getting this stock. And I know large does not mean another 50gals lol. These guys all get huge and I realize that. A indoor pond is the end goal for a lifetime setup for these guys. Yeah I've read up on the ray and the bioload they make. They also require the best water possible. So a lot more water changes need to happen I see now. Yeah I have tried pellets and they don't eat them alone. So I plan to start adding in the tilapia and hopefully they will get used to the taste and texture of a hard pellet to go straight pellets eventually.I agree it doesn't look cramped as you said but as those fish grow the bioload will increase and the aggression from the dominant peacock bass can become a problem for the less dominant peacock bass due to space. Some species like Cichlids claim a large territory in the wild and will duplicate this in the aquarium.. If you don't know this already the Stingray will be the biggest contributor to the bioload. Also recommend a good pellet brand to rotate with the tilapia.
Ok great thanks again for the help! A lot of work ahead lol. But I think that's one thing I like about fish keeping lol.Agreed, I've seen far worse. As Dave suggested, some plants, or driftwood, or a couple large boulders, would help break up the line of sight and allow the fish to relax a bit. I didn't see the clown knifefish in your original post, so yeah, with your current stock list your bio-load is going to rise fast, really fast, as these fish all continue to grow. So an upgrade is something that you should probably be considering sooner rather than later. Good luck.
