As far as your plan goes, i think thats a good idea to wait a few says and see what happens, then you’ll also have some time to setup a tank for the eggs to make sure they can stay aerated during incubation as well as ensure the maximum survival of any offspring as they hatch...

you can also then start planning on getting two small hatcheries ready to breed some baby brine shrimp so you have a nice steady supply of food for them when they hatch...
