Kinda how I feltI haven’t heard that name since this awful thread that came as a result of him
I think he’s a joke and needs to be ignored. Granted I only could stomach about 3 of his videos before I couldn’t watch anymore so my opinion isn’t to be taken very strongly.RE: Don't Buy Oscar Fish - 6 Reasons Why

i always find myself watching one of this dudes videos about a fish im about to buy and 90% of the time he literally just bought it that week or is showing videos of his fans fish. he literally just rambles about random ****. ive even lost fish due to his tankmate advice. hes so full of **** and i cant stand it. almost none of the popular fish youtubers are very experienced or knowledgeable about what they keep. it seems that experienced fishkeepers just havent found there way onto youtube yet. This guy just seems to be full of bad advice and seems to almost contradict what most other people say about fish species and tank mates etc. Is he out to lunch or is everybody else? Anybody else watched any of this stuff?
No, experienced fish keepers just haven’t become popular yet as they don’t care about being flashy and getting views, they couldn’t care less, they just do it to show their fish to others and inform others which doesn’t get attention from the general population.it seems that experienced fishkeepers just havent found there way onto youtube yet.
there are definitely some far and few between but i think it also depends on what you consider experienced. allot of the breeders and people who collect fish with specific needs that you might see on breeder tour videos on youtube dont have their own youtube channel. for people whove been in the hobby for a decent amount of time and have a good understanding of the basics should be getting info from these breeders not aquarists of equal skill level who often just have a much larger budget and appear to be more experienced because they can afford to have more. for example i didnt find a lick of good info on youtube about pike cichlids and i really really looked what i did get was a video from palmer aquatics who clearly just made the video because he likes to hear himself talk and a video from PF fishing who i dont even need to get started on. the last thing im going to say on this topic is that allot of fish youtubers are just hobbyists who happen to be very present on the internet and not people who know so much about fish that they decided to start an informational channel, probably because the real experienced aquarists are too busy with waterchanges. No, experienced fish keepers just haven’t become popular yet as they don’t care about being flashy and getting views, they couldn’t care less, they just do it to show their fish to others and inform others which doesn’t get attention from the general population.
