Nice looking tank... What you going to keep above the water? I was going to make my pond a pally, but made a fatal error by getting a TSN, so anything I kept above to would just have been lunch!!!

Concrete will make your water way too alkaline, I dont know how long it will continue to leach crap into the water, but I think there are things you can paint it with to seal it. I'm sure Dr Joe and the others will be round soon, they know, also use the search bar to search the forums cause quite a few people have used it in their tanks. One guy made some really cool mask decorations!

Thank you, for your coments, actually that pic is for my 30 gallon tank, that I have already setup and is fully cover in plants, for my paludarium I'm using a 75 gallon tank, and the fist two pic are from the 75 gallon tank, I but I'll have to change the back wall because I made the mistake of buying cork board instead of real corck thinkg that is was the samething but after I fill the tank half tank the cork peel and what ever was glue to that cork broke and a friend of mine told me that I need to change that wall because cork board have toxic stuff that will cotaminate the water, I might have seal the structure to stop the leaching of calcium, another option that I had is add pea moss to the sustrate that help to take the calcium to go into the plants , that are going to be above the water (bromeliads, ferms, moss, carnivorus plants):naughty:, but right now I'm trying to figure out how deal with teh concret leaching calcium, I can't remember the name of the product Im using but I'll check later and let you guys know.

you can cure your concrete with vinegar, either soak it or sprau it on...do this for several days....then take it and place in a bucket of water...test PH first then after a couple hours test the bucket with the concrete in it...i have made several stones and whatnot using concrete...no real problems...new concrete can cause problems

VInager, I've ear about that, I might give it a try , but deos any one know if I seal the structure with a something it will help to stop the leaching?, any ideas????

If you can find something that can be submersed 24/7 yes.

Maybe dryloc? Everything else is expensive.

I've never seen a way to cure concrete without it making the water harder. Unless you have a huge amount, though, i don't think you will have a problem with all but the most sensitive fish.

tHANK YOU FOR THE COMMENTS ABOUT MY ANGELS, THE TRICK IS BLOOD WORMS!!!

I TRY TO LOOK FOR That product and seee how it goes, another way I ear keeping ph low is using wood, just let wood soak and that brown color that come from the wood would control the calcium, I'm a little upset aout the whole concret thingm but like a friend say, I takes a while to get perfection or at least to get closer :WHOA:, anyways , I'll try to send pics asoon I figure wich way to go, any other advise you guys can give me will be really aprecieted.

I attach the firs desing that I had in mind, let know what you guys think
