hello guys. I finally gottime to go and look forthe name of the concret Im using, what I'm using is surface bonding cement from AKONA and I'm mixing this product with bonding additive from the same brand, does any body have experience with this product??, I ear that I wont leach too much calcium compared with other concret

After a week of disaster, got to take same pics so you guys can see, how is my proyect doing, (not as good as a expected):irked:, anyways I have to start again building teh back wall after I find out that using cork board is not the same as real cork, and after a week being in water finally came out (felt:eek:). there you some pics that will explaind the process hehehe.
1) This is the tank before I add water, there fire wood (pine) and the cork board

2) After a week the everithing start to go down hill , a friend told me that cork board is not real cork and that I could kill my fish if I add some, as you can see in the pic the wood came out due to the weight and offcorse the cork board soak started felling apart

I took the first structure out let in dry and then I use concrete sealer, hopefully will stop the leaching, I use CONCRET SEALER from SEALBEST.

PLS LET ME KNOW WhAT YOU GUYS THINK, that will help not to do the same mistakes.

You should only use concrete sealer that is rated for potable water applications. I woudn't of bothered doing that. It's takes about 3 weeks for the concrete leaching to slow down. If you do a fishless cycle, the nitrifying bacteria will seal the concrete. You should get a TDS meter so you can test the water to see when the leaching stops.

Thank you again for your comments, I finally got the second structure done seal and after let it dry fro 24 hours I place teh second structure in a separted contairer fill with with water and then after that I place the second structure in the tank, I also add more fish to have te water ready, the main structure is almost done, hopefully my friend and I will be able to finish it this weekend or next week, I attch some pics for you guys to see, pls let me waht you guys think?, in the pics I show the process for the main structure, I want to thank my friend Randy thanks to him this proyect has been possible, the last pics show a colum for and under water cave.
