most fish can tolerate some degree of salt, though it may not be ideal
Depends on species really, but yes virtually all fish are more tolerant than say, most plants in regards to salt tolerance , also many species that can tolerate salt don't tolerate strong wave motion, which is why you don't usually see huge swaths of guppies in the middle of the ocean, it isn't that they can't tolerate saltwater, just that they can't avoid predators in those enviorments
