My method of using metal baskets upside down seems to have worked well.
This method really seemed to "simplify" the paludarium creating process.
The land and water is separated nicely and this way there is a good amount of water area as the mopani wood is basically on top of the metal baskets other than one smaller piece that I have in the water.
Once the plants take root and began to grow upward I think that they might need trimming, although they then might branch out more.
The root systems creating a somewhat natural nitrogen cycle.
I also really like how the light panel has two options, red and green/normal light that can be combined or only use one of the other.
