Pangasius Catfish albino or not?

just keep an eye out, fish like this seem to pop up from time to time, to bad your so far away. but if i dont do my pond soon maybe we can figure someway to get that big guy over there
 
how does one tell if a fish is a platinum, been looken at albino pics an they always seem to be more yellow or pink, with red eyes, also looked up alot on platinum an it would seem this would be more correct. but i dont wanna claim to have a platinum tell i know for sure. lol. hope someone can help me id these guy. as it is a beautiful oddball

ok cool. i was just curious bc i have 2 albino ones an there way diffrent. there more yellowish with a tint of pink an bright red eyes. well good to know he is just albino thanks

In regards to the "albino or not?" question the fish you have fit into an intermediate category with the dark eyes etc. i cant remember how to spell the term but it is something like-Leiusitic or leiustitic in this case you would probably get a common name of "gold" as the skin is more yellow than pinky white and has "normal" eyes.

Just tried an online thesaurus and the nearest i can find is Leucoethiopic but im not sure its the term i mean-can anyone clarify as its bothering me now.

you sure he's just not melanistic or leusistic. The local wal-mart here has a bunch of babies that look identical. The eyes on these look very much like yours. I hate buying fish from wal-mart, but these really intrigue me.
 
I hate albino iridescents after owning one. I have a happy 6" one. And I got him a albino buddy. Now know I have perfect water levels I test weekly. Any way the albino literally committed suicide. He didn't eat a damn thing for 31/2 wks and died. I tried everything. I even tried every food the pet store I got him recommended. P.s. They wouldn't take him back. I offered him back for free so he wouldn't die and the refused because of their policy. And that was before I joined this site.
