Pangasius growth rate??

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Were they always in the 750?

I've been feeding them Aquarian Bottom Feeder Shrimp pellets and they dont seem to be very fond of them.

What kind do yours favor most?

they can be easily trained to accept floating pellets.sticks and krill on the top and they will accept silversides at the bottom

I think I might need to start adding garlic becuase they've lost a lot of they're appetitie.

They used to rip chunks out of the bloodworms and brine shrimp and now they dont show any interest.

I've had my pangs for almost a year and it seems they havent grown very much at all.

I purchased them at about 3" and now they're at about 4"

They've got plenty of room as they're in my 125... water is changed 50% once a week.

Diet consists of frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, sinking pellets and occasionally beef heart.

Are they naturally slow growing fish???

are you talking about the Catfish that looks like a shark? ID shark/Paroon Shark? those kind? If so, mine grows very fast :D

Brought it at 3" and 2 months later, its 6" going 7", its in 50G tank, it feeds on squid and octopus and the temp is around 84F.. :D

You should try on " Bottom dweller/Catfish " section, they (mfkers) have mention this a lot (some mfkers got like 24" +) :D

this is the guy i'm talking about...

Yes, they have grown up in the 750g. Right now they are fed 3 different types of sinking pellets from Ken's fish and an off brand of shrimp pellets from walmart. They are not picky though and will eat anything they find. What tankmates are yours with?
KNH

I've got:
1 5" Featherfin
1 3" Featherfin
1 6" Aro
1 4" Clown Knife

and lastly the 2 pangs.

I used to keep 3 Columbian sharks in there aswell, but they're in a 210 bw now.
