Pangasius Larnaudii, Black Ear Catfish

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
The tank does look very small, even from a corner shot, just a hunch.
Even if your other stock don't appreciate flow, add a small internal, directing the flow to go parallel with either the front or back panel rather than at an angle from the corner, that will direct most of the flow and keep it contained a bit.
Lovely catfish. Hope you have a large tank on the horizon.

There's a thread on the stingray section with a video of rays, housed with I believe large specimens of this sp. I'll try and post the link on here

Interesting vid. Thanks. These look like short-body paroons to me. Or am I seeing paroons where there aren't? (Second time in this thread).

Larnaudii look more like an IDS and paroon hybrid having the features of both and they always have the black spot by the gill cover. http://www.planetcatfish.com/common/species.php?species_id=1352

Viet Anh has a black ear well seen in the feeding video in post 13 http://www.monsterfishkeepers.com/forums/threads/mainly-catfish-tank.648048/page-2 His does look a lot like a paroon to my eye. But does have the black spot. There are paroons in that tank too.
