No harm,no foul..I can try to get some photos but whatever they are suffering from hasn't affected their constant motion which isn't captured well with a mere cell phone camera but it's all I have.

If no flash, one could use / project all the reasonable light available, taking care not to include light reflection into the photograph. In theory, that should help a lot.

do a video

Hi I sent you a text. When you get a chance can you text me back a video or picture? Are dats doing ok? What you feeding the group? any new fish or live foods added? I know you have great tanks but any chance of a crash? If it seems mostly on the skin I am a big fan of oxytetracyline (though good for systemic infections as well). It turns the water yellow then brown, but that is the least of your concerns. It will affect the filter though. Its a relatively safe drug if dosed according to instructions. Don't really know of any sensitivities with catfish but you never know. Keep me posted and sorry for late response

I'll have to set up a YouTube account for video uploading...
The three dats are fine and seemingly normal, the catfish are fed a rotation of pellets and cut up tilapia and shrimp.

Yes they are,all is normal except for the blotches.

I hope it's not the same thing I experienced but I had a wc, mormyrus longirostris and it started developing the same symptoms and then died a few days later but it spread to every single fish it was housed with and they all died in that same weekend as well. I hope you figure out what's going on
