Not again!.....

Here we go again..another knee jerk reaction from a government agency, who doesn't know what the h*** they are talking about!!

I find it very hard to believe that a C.micropeltes would have been able to survive the winter in England.
It is exclusive a tropical spices, and as such can not survive for long in cold waters.

Yes, some of the spices can establish a breeding population, think C.argus
for example, but the majority would simply perish during winter.

I am not blind to the danger of invasive spices and it should be taken seriously, but it seems to me that the snakeheads are for some strange reason, seen as the just pure evil.
Instead of doing a serious research into which spices are potentially problamatic, it is ohh so much more easy just to say that all of them are dangerous, and will eat your dog and child..

I love snakeheads, and i am sick and tired of seeing them portrayed in this way all the time..

If we ban them, what do we ban next time?...a dovii?, a teminsis? what about just banning all tropical fish and be done with it?!

Sorry for the rant..i feel better now:)

It's the freshwater version of Jaws.

No more snakeheads for the UK? Hmmm, that would suck.
