Hi today i spent £150 on a (Papyrocranus afer) also known as a riticulated knife fish he is 18 inches long i know he grows big and his is in a 150 on ihs own at the moment i need more infomation what to feed him tnak mates etc and general stuff about them i have searched them and found very little i want to know peoples own experiences please help

Very secretive and aggressive fish. Grows to about 2' Don't know the growth rate since I never had one. Seen them for sale before, but never got them

Mean as hell. Mine ( although I believe it is a Payrocranus Congicus ) lives with a Jar and they respect each other.
They are also called the Arowana Knife or the Ponpon Knife. Do a serch at MFK, there is something about them-not much, but sumpin'.
