So you are saying a Freddy is too big for a 75 gallon? Even if it turns out to be a female?I agree, I wouldn't keep a 12" fish in a 4' tank.
Honestly I would get a 125g for fish of that size.

Some go by an inch per 10g. As for tank mates... snails! So you are saying a Freddy is too big for a 75 gallon? Even if it turns out to be a female?

A salvini would love that. Mine was a psycho in a 15 gallon and barely a pest in the 70. I'll see what aggression is like as an adult one dayThanks for the advice. I totally agree that they need space. My tank is on a home made steel stand with which I have been contemplating flipping on its side and getting a custom tank built with a footprint of 48x36 would that help or do you think these guys need a longer tank more than anything?
Agree. I was just having a debate with some dummy about this. No, but I don't keep anything bigger than 10" in a 150g. Parachromis shouldn't be confined to small tanks. Such fish deserve space.
And definitely no tankmates for aggression reasons.
There's lots of them about.Agree. I was just having a debate with some dummy about this.
Lol.NO DOUBT
