Parachromis Growout Thread... PIC HEAVY!

I wasnt going to update so soon but due to recent activity, i couldnt resist...
A few days ago i noticed one of the managuense were showing interest and had what appeared to be a breeding tube down.. Initially, i thought there is no way theyre spawning already.... To my surprise, this morning, i found eggs with two small jags defending.. I honestly cant believe how early this pair has spawned. The fish are maybe 2.75 or 3 inches TOPS! The motas and laceibas are also doing well and are growing like crazy. Some deep coloration starting to pop on the laceibas! Both species have grown about half an inch since acquiring them.

Nice that those jags spawned early ... at least now you got one pair down two to go!...don't hold back on the updates..with what you got going the growth and color/ pattern changes are well worth seeing frequently....
 
So I lost a mota today... Came home from work to find him with a fat belly and swimming extremely slowly and resting on a rock. I removed him and put him in a 15g hospital tank with Epsom mix @ 2tsp / 5 gallons.. I woke up this morning to find him dead.. No other fish are exhibiting any symptoms what so ever. All are vivacious and swimming/eating like savages. Any ideas as to the cause of the death?
