Are there any parachromis species that are sutable for a 75 gallon aquarium? This summer when I move out and move into my new house/apartment i'll be setting up a 75 and i'm just looking for stocking options. looking for 1 or 2 preditors to stock it with. Any suggestions?

Side note, this will be the largest tank they will have so they will have to be in there for life, I don't even know if this is large enough for any of them, just asking.

female jags> 1
red tigers (motaguensis.)> up to 2
freddys are also fine, up to 2
and Loisellei, possibly 2

the ones you really can get away with are, male jags, and dovii:)

Loiselli pair. Wish I had the room...

personally I'd go with red tiger motaguense, but loisellei and friedrichsthalli are nice too. any of these would be fine as a single specimen or pair in a 75. if you go with a pair have a divider on hand just in case. :)

you might be able to get away with a Loisellei. They're relatively peaceful for guapotes, and not bad looking either.

i dont think i've ever had a peaceful loisellei

but they are very nice looking, esp, adults

Im only 50/50 on whether they are even parachromis or not but salvinis are like mini doviis and look good when they are grown up.

i heard a female dovii would do good.I would order one from rapps.it seems like his livestock of dovii have insane color:headbang2

pass on a dovii, go with the smaller parachromis, i'd say a pair of loisellei's would look great

so would a pair of Mota's, the colors on those guys are insane
