Parachromis in 75g

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Yeah I had been planning on one of the smaller parachromis, jags and dovii get too large for a 75 and like I said, I don't plan on upgrading, atleast no time in the forseeable future unless one of you guys wants to get rid of a big tank for real cheap(college student, real cheap=free or case of beer). I had already been feeling the red tiger cause the colors are amazing but it's still up in the air. Not to ask so many questions but is there anything for dither that could survive in there? I know it would also depend on individual fish but just in general any ideas?

Thanks again,
Travis

for a dither you could try some hard bellied silver dollars because they can get like 9 inches, but they might be able to pick off any fry that you plan on raising:)

I can't really justify putting a 15" fish(if female) in that small of a tank.

I just bought a breeding pair of loisellei I can hook ya up with babies next time they breed

I might have to take you up on that offer...

For a 75gallon, Like most great members on this board recommends either a gold or red motaguense or fredrichthalii.
Either one or breeding pair you cant go wrong.

I say go with the mota. Cant beat the colors. Here is a pic of mine fighting with my dempsey.
