I think he bought it at 12". Btw you sure he's that big? Not trying to call you out but in that shot where he's at the corner of the tank it doesn't look like its tail ends 12" from the corner. Either way congrats he's a gorgeous fish and still bigger than most loisellei's I've seen.

Thank you, so far, feeders are all he'll eat. which is the only downside to him, hopefully i can get him on pellets soon.

correctamundo. just bought him. and today, i officially mesaured him with a ruler (12'' was a guestimate) and he 10 1/2 inches tl.

judgeing by body shape and mass/build of general loiselli i'd put it at 9-10" max.
