Parachromis Loseillei Fighting

Its not wonder the fish fight. Only having 4 feet of territory to squabble against isnt helping. For the same gallonage, you can pick up a 6ftx18"x22".
 
Loisellei get about 10 inches. You've had yours for three years? I can't tell exactly from the pictures, but yours look like they're about 6 inches. My loisellei grew from 2 to 7 inches in about seven months.

I don't think you would be overstocked if you returned the oscar to the tank, but the loisellei probably consider the whole tank theirs by now. I wouldn't be surprised if the oscar took a beating upon re-entry to the tank.

Mystix, did you even look at the pictures of the tank? dannyrobot's fish have plenty of room, espicially compared to the fish in your own 35 gallon tank.

:owned:.............However I am inclined to agree with mystix here :( Those dimensions are the worst I have ever heard of. Looks like a 50 tall....
 
In a sense I adopted the fish, the Loisellei and the Oscar. A friend kept them from fry with a pleco in what I believe was a 50 or 70 gallon tank for about two years until he gave them to me last July. I would have bought the long variation of the 125 but I got the tank for free, you cant tell me that wasn't a good deal. And my Loisellei are between 6 and 7 inches right now. Cookiemonster did you read that I have 3 pleco in the tank also? And are you and Mystix enemies or something? Where can you find really big pieces of driftwood? I have been periodically searching different LFS but have not found one worthy of my 125. Not that it is an amazing tank or anything but I want a big piece.

loisellie get think and also kinda long males can get 12''sometimes longer
 
They will be agressive in that size tank no matter howe you decorate.Just not enough room
 
I am sorry but I have difficulty understanding how two 6" fish cannot have enough swimming space in 125g.
Care to explain?
