lol I know im retarted for this. I picked up the pike in those pictures about a week ago and I still havn't found out what the species and common name is, Any help?

Dude go for it. They are incredibly interesting to watch. The planted tank with the multitude of species is kind of refreshing. and there are dozens of beautiful apisto species out there to choose from and find.

Has to be one of the coolest genus's of fish. Next to crenicichla they are very diverse and widespread.

and a beautiful planted south or central american tank with these guys feels so much more complete. To a cichlid enthusiast such as myself, I think Takashi Amano would dig some of these guys. Though im sure he has his reasons for not keeping them.

Looks like a male sp. 'belly crawler' ...
