I'm sure many MFK members will take issue with the authors tank size conclusions, but one has only to look at the many posts found in this south central category with the plethora of aggression problems, and/or HITH etc, etc, to see the author is taking a more realistic view of how these magnificent fish should be housed.
I agree. Ideally these magnificent fish should have tons of space. My largest tank is a 150g and is one reason I keep smaller species being that the biggest gets between 8-10". And eventually I'll upgrade.
