According to people that have been collecting for many (many) years...they are a colorful variant of Loiselli...one or two other are trying to put a "new species" spin on it. I'll take the opinion of the folks with many years of experience with Central American cichlids over those who are relatively "new" to the CA/SA cichlid hobby.
