Or loiselli and neets

If 125 is what you got to work with and you really want this why dont you keep texas rather than anphilophis. They are similar in shape with tall body and nice forehead but max out much smaller. They also tough as nails. But they big enough even full grown jags couldn't swallow. Big cave one side and smaller on other with open water in middle. Some say put the big decoration in middle acting as barrier but i disagree believing it only encourages them to get close and flex. I would stay away from motaguensis and dovii...both snap. Usually a dominant jag pair isnt as bad of an oppressor. And if you like the freddy or loiselle i like a big festae pair because even the female will be tall enough body she can't enter parachromis territory. Midas, trimac etc typically want immediate control where festae sometimes ease into that roll. If you want little more mellow maybe handful of lyonsi grown up together causing constant commotion with pair loiselle. If lyonsi pair off sometimes they tolerate more of their kind...no guarantee obviously. all these scenarios could work out like a dream or produce floating fish overnight. My last suggestion would be an adult bonded pair in with a handful of much smaller of the second species that offers absolutely no threat and again custom hiding spots on either end of the tank with open water in the middle. It may be a good idea to drop the temperature of the aquarium a couple degrees, keep their bellies full with different high quality foods and have pristine water conditions
