parasite identification please (pics)

added a bunch of pumpkinseeds to my 65 quarantine/jag growout and they have strange parasites on their fins... they are pretty large actually. i have aquarium salt i was going to dose to take care of it.. and i also have tetra parasite guard. what do you think these hitch hikers are?? and will salt do the job?? how many tsp/gal?? heres some pics

Looks like it could be Anchor worm, I can't see it to well. Can you discribe it? I see a spot on the fin anything hanging off it?
 
they are like round tan half balls, almost like half of a clam, maybe half the size of a grain of rice. no hairs or anything hanging off them.. and just on the fins

it's possibile it could be lymphocystis which if it is, is a virus and has no cure. It is usually not fatal and most times goes into remission. It will be transmitted to other fish however and these fish should never be used for breeding. Otherwise there is no treatment for it.

I'm not saying for sure this is what it is I have no way of determining that from a photo. White "lumps" on the fins is one of the symptoms but could also be an in cysted parasite like an anchor worm. Keep the fish isolated and keep and eye on them for a couple of weeks in a QT tank to see if anything else devlopes.
