well I didnt get it off in time I guess, I woke up today to find her dead-
she was literally almost 3x the weight of a similar size bushynose
I had to look anyway, it would have been very difficult if she was alive to get it off- even dead it was the size and density of an acorn and hard to remove
inside it looked to me like fatty tissue- but Im a reverend not a doctor

Out of interest, how did you figure out the weight of your fish? Did you include the tumor growth when you weighed this fish? I can't believe this fish has 3x the normal weight.

just from having two in one net for comparison and having her in an identical net in the other hand- she was smaller in length than the other two and still weighed noticeably more
